| Not far from our favourite summer holiday spot (Wragge Beach), is our favourite winter holiday spot, the hot springs north of Nakusp, BC. There are many public and priviate hot springs in the area. This is the Infinity Hot Springs Escape Cottage, a private chalet with its own infinity pool filled with the toasty warm waters of the local mineral springs. This was our first time staying at this particular chalet. |
The area is 30 minutes further up the road from Wragge, and in a different valley. Wragge is on Slocan Lake. The hot springs are on Upper Arrow Lake. |
The chalet is across the lake from Mt. Burnham in the Monashee Mountains. |

We visited in the middle of a polar vortex. The air temperature at this moment was -20 degrees Celsius. After a few soaks we learned to wear our toques into the pool. |

Between soaks, we played board games. This is the game Cascadia, which was perfect to play because the chalet is located in Cascadia, as the decor in the living room clearly indicates! |
The chalet was beautiful and furnished with comfortable beds, heated floors, a wood stove in the living room, and a lovely kitchen. |
It would be great to visit in the summer too. This is the balcony off our bedroom. |
The pool stays nicely hot between soaks thanks to a cover. |
