This photo was taken about half an hour after Team Canada won the gold medal game of the 2010 Olympic hockey competition.

Against the U.S.

Thousands of jubilant fans who had been watching the game in downtown bars celebrated up and down Granville Street. Street photographer heaven.

These young men are standing on top of a bus shelter. Their gestures are expressive but I most love their postures, especially their bent knees. Legs and arms in motion, mouths open, you can feel these guys bounce as they chant, and you can almost hear the chant itself.
