The menu at left lets you change the background colour of the site, toggle captions on & off, display these 'about' screens, and navigate back and forth through the photos in this portfolio.

I haven't programmed a way to jump to specific photos; you'll have to click through them one at a time. I'm spearheading the 'slow browse' movement :-) The navigation arrows do wrap between the first and last photographs, however. So you can reverse your way to a photo if you know it's in the bottom half of the collection.

Click on the photo for my thoughts about it. Beware, spoilers inside. The way I see a photo may not be the way you do, and the background I provide may short-circuit some of a photo's magic/art for you. I often describe the circumstances surrounding a shot, and sometimes the technical details of making it. Read back to back, these exegeses form a diary of my photographic process.

The number of each photo links to the original gallery it came from. Click on it to see other work contemporaneous with it.

Hover over any camera model name (e.g. Fujifilm XF10) to see a picture of that camera.
